Senshu University - The 2018 BCL Program 日本專修大學2018 BCL Program

Program period: September 21 to December 15, 2018 (86 days, 85 nights)

Requirements:

(1) Students should have a good acedemic standing and attendance record (a GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred).-歷年成績GPA 3.0或以上者

(2) Students must be highly motivated with a sincere desire to study at Senshu University.-具強烈學習及參與意願

(3) At least one term/semester of college-level Japanese language study (or equivalent Japanese skill) is preferred.-於大學/碩士就學期間修讀過日文課程至少一學期者。申請者需精通：(1) 46個平假名、(2) 日文1至10的漢字、(3)日常招呼基本詞彙；

(4) Students who register for the "Survey of Japanese Business" course are expected to have some basic business knowledge.-選擇"Survey of Japanese Business"者須具備商業科系背景

Course description (限擇一參加):

(1) Japanese Language+Survey of Japanese Business+Survey of Japanese Culture & History

(2) Japanese Language+Survey of Japanese Business

(3) Japanese Language+Survey of Japanese Culture & History

If necessary, you can stay at the dorm for three additional days both before and/or after the starting and ending dates of the program, for an additional fee.

Fee include: (1) Textbooks & Materials, (2) University Facility Fee, (3) Transportation fees from Narita Airport to the dormitory at the beginning of the program (a chartered bus), (4) Transportation and admission fees for field trips to places of cultural interest, etc., and expenses for task assignments including: museum visits, Japanese calligraphy, a one-day trip to Kamakura, company visits, a tea ceremony, and an overnight trip to Hakone, (5) Accommodation Fee (includes utilities & internet access, but excludes washing machines & driers), (6) Home Visit Fee (optional)

¥270,000 (Home Visit included) - Through a three-day home visit, students will be able to directly experience typical Japanese family life.

¥247,200 (Home visit excluded)

Payment deadline: July 6th , 2018

The wire transfer of money for all students should be made to the bank account designated on the invoice issued by Senshu University. Unfortunately, credit card or personal checks cannot be accepted. Student are responsible for paying all bank charges. When make the transfer, please add to ¥2,500-¥5,000 to cover the charge made by the Japanese recipient bank. Please note amounts paid are non-refundable.

1. Application form 申請表（貼上3個月內證件照一張）；

2. Home visit registration form 校外寄宿家庭申請（選擇Home Visit者繳交）；

3. A copy of students’ passport 護照個人資訊頁影本1份；

4. Official Transcript（英文版歷年成績單1份，至教務處申請）。

5. Japanese Placement Test（繳交申請件後由本處告知線上測驗相關資訊）。

◆ 獲選本計畫者視同赴日本地區交換學生。

◆ 本處收件截止日為2018年6月1日(五)下午五點前，有意申請者請繳交申請件至國際事務處2004辦公室 王小姐（逾期不受理）。
