Program admision: Environment, sustainability and resilience is one of the key research themes at the

University of York. According to The Times Higher Education, the impact of the

University of York’s research in ecology and environmental science ranks second in

the UK and 17^th in the world.

This three-week summer school offers undergraduate students an exciting opportunity

to expand their knowledge about the latest environmental and sustainability issues

while studying in one of the most beautiful cities in the UK. The programme will also

equip students to think critically and develop better academic communications skills.

This programme will suit students looking for careers in environmental consultancy,

environmental research and engineering, the energy sector and policymaking. The

programme is also suited for students looking to undertake a higher degree in

environmental science.

Program themes: Marine conservation, Water pollution, Air quality, Waste utilization, Energy biography, Biofuel, Mitigation

Registration fee: £50 (non-refundable)

Program fee: £2,555 (non-refundable, 5% Early bird discount on programme fee is available, to qualify student must register by 29 March 2019.)
