為鼓勵中山大學的同學們踴躍申請出國交換及吸引國外學生來校就讀，國際處計畫推出一系列的短片來宣傳，因此向校園招募「國際」大導演，協助國際處拍攝行銷影片！如果你有源源不絕的創意靈感，也懂影片創作、拍攝與後製，熱情歡迎你向國際處提案，通過後本處將提供拍攝經費，並依影片點閱率提供製片獎金！

To promote the International Student Exchange Program and encourage international students to study at NSYSU, the Office of International Affairs (OIA) plans to release a series of videos. And we are looking for YOU to help us make the videos! If you have good ideas and know the skills of filmmaking and post-production, we invite you to present your proposals to the OIA! If your proposal passes our review process, the OIA will provide funding to your video production, and offer an additional bonus based on the views on YouTube!

活動辦法 Guidelines

影片主題需求 Themes

1. 提升本校學生申請出國交換或研修的意願 
   Encourage NSYSU students to apply for the International Student Exchange Program or other programs of studying abroad.
2. 行銷本校，吸引外籍學生申請至本校就讀學位或交換（可以是全校性或聚焦單一學院或針對特定國家，影片以英文或目標國家語言呈現） 
   Attract international students to study at NSYSU for degree or non-degree.

行銷影片必須符合以上兩大主題之一，每一影片針對一個主題，實際內容、細節、腳本則由提案者發想。
The video must correspond to either one of the two themes above. One video can only present one theme.
Audience and Language: You can choose to promote an individual college or NSYSU as a whole for a targeted or general audience. The language can be English or the language of the specific target country or region.

影片內容範例 Points to Cover in the Videos

報名者可參考以下內容範例，但提案並不侷限以這些範例為影片內容，提案者可自行蒐集拍片所需資料、自由創作。

Please refer to the points below for your video content. However, your video proposal does not have to confine to those points.

1. 提升本校同學申請出國交換的意願：
   Encourage NSYSU student to apply for the International Student Exchange Program or to study abroad:

• 分享本校提供之出國交換獎學金 
  Share the information on NSYSU scholarships for studying abroad
   
• 出國交換之顧慮(生活費、學分...等)與解答
  Resolve common concern about studying abroad (e.g., expenses, credit waiver, accommodation, etc.)
   
• 邀請返國同學現身說法 
  Invite the students who have completed their exchange to give testimonials and share their experiences
   
• 邀請返國且已進入職場之學長姊分享交換經驗於職場上的幫助 
  Invite NSYSU graduates who participated in the program to share how the program benefits their work career

2. 行銷本校，吸引外籍學生申請至本校交換、或至本校就讀學位：
   Attract international students to study at NSYSU as the degree or exchange students:

提案影片數量 Number of Videos

影片數量無限制，提案者可依照影片架構、內容與腳本，規劃為單一或系列影片。

There is no limitation to the number of videos in your proposal. You can propose a single video or a series of videos based on the script's structure and contents.

影片片長 Length of Video

每個影片時間長度以不超過2分鐘為原則。

The length of each video should not exceed 2 minutes.

影片規格 Requirement of Video File Format

影片解析度需在1280*720以上，必須以可上傳至YouTube的檔案格式為主（含avi/mov/mpg…等）。提案者拍片完成後，需將影片檔案提交給國際處。

Video resolution needs to be above 1280*720 in a file format that allows uploading to YouTube (including avi/mov/mpg, etc.). The original video file should be submitted to the OIA.

影片發佈於國際處YouTube頻道後，如觀看次數(點閱率)達到下列目標，將依照下列標準核發獎金予提案人：

If the views on the OIA YouTube channel reach the goal below, an additional bonus will be provided:

注意事項 Notices

1. 計畫書通過審核者需與國際處協商拍攝及繳交影片之日期，並依照計畫書之內容進行拍攝相關作業。如因故需修改影片內容或拍攝期程，請務必事先知會國際處並取得同意。 
   If your proposal passes the review process of the OIA, please discuss with the OIA for the dates you plan to shoot and submit the video and proceed with the filmmaking and post-production based on your proposal. If you need to modify the video content or shooting schedule, please notify the OIA in advance.


2. 影片完成並繳交至國際處後，提案人即同意無償授權國際處將該影片發佈至網路或社群媒體平台，例如(但不限於)國際處網站、YouTube、Facebook等管道，以進行宣傳或報導，提案人並同意國際處引用提案計畫書內之文字作為影片說明。
   After submitting the video to the OIA, you agree to authorize the OIA the right to use your video at no charge. The OIA will release your video to the Internet or social media, including the OIA website, YouTube, and Facebook. You also agree with the OIA to use information in your proposal to promote your video.
    
3. 若國際處已核撥拍片經費予提案人，但提案人因故無法繳交影片，則國際處有權取消該提案人之活動參加資格，並將視情況追回已核撥之製片經費。
   If, for any reason, you fail to finish and deliver the videos, the OIA has the right to cancel your participation in this activity, and the budget will be recalled. All payments made earlier will be reviewed to decide whether they can be claimed.
    
4. 參賽作品需為原創作品，提案人應對影片所有內容擁有合法著作權利，如有抄襲或侵害他人權益者，提案人需自負相關法律責任，且國際處有權取消提案人之活動參加資格，並將向提案人追回相關製片經費及獎金。
   Your video needs to be an original work created by yourself or your team. You will hold the copyright of your video. If your video contains plagiarized content and thus infringes on the rights of other people, you are fully accountable to the legal liability. Under this circumstance, the OIA can cancel your participation in this activity and recover the funding to your video production and additional bonus.


5. 本辦法如有未盡事宜，國際處保留修改、變更、取消活動內容之權利。
   For the matters not addressed in the guidelines, the OIA reserves the right to modify, change, or cancel this activity.

報名資訊 Proposal Submission

報名資格與人數 Eligibility

1. 提案人需為國立中山大學在學之學位或交換生。 Current NSYSU students (including international degree students and exchange students)
2. 提案人可以個人或團隊的方式參加本活動。 Individual or group submission
3. 影片入鏡者以本校台灣或外籍師生及畢業校友為主。 Those who show up in the video should be NSYSU local or international students, faculty or alumni.

報名方式 Submission

請將下列內容以Word檔案整理為提案計畫書，檔名請命名：國際大導演 創意影片提案，並於第一階段提案截止日期109年7月31日前，將提案計畫書寄給本活動承辦人。審查方式採隨到隨審，通過後即可進行拍攝作業。
Name your file as“My Proposal on Creative Videos_Your Name” and submit it to the OIA coordinator by July 31, 2020 (the 1st stage deadline). The OIA will review your proposal upon receipt and inform you of the review result as soon as possible.

提案計畫書內容需包含 Your proposal should include:：

1. 報名者資料 (若為團隊報名，需提供所有成員之資料，並註明主要聯絡人) 
   Applicant Information (For group submission, please provide all members' information and appoint a contact person.)

           (A)學生姓名、系級、Email、聯絡電話 Name, department/institute, year of study (e.g., Department of Chemistry, sophomore), email, and mobile phone number

           (B)請簡述參加本活動之動機 State briefly the reasons why you want to join this activity

           (C)如有攝影、影片拍攝製作、行銷宣傳相關活動經歷，請簡述並提供相關資料或連結  
            If you have any previous experience in filmmaking, video production or marketing, please specify briefly and provide the links to your works or relevant information.

   2. 影片內容提案 Proposal on Video Content

• 提升本校生出國交換意願 Encourage NSYSU student to apply for the International Student Exchange Program or to study abroad
• 吸引外籍生至本校就讀 Attract international students to study in NSYSU as degree students or exchange students

   請依照本活動以上兩大主題，分別敘述：
   Please describe the following based on the two main topics above:

(A) 影片腳本或劇情、訪談內容簡述  Brief description of the video script, storyline or interview contents

(B) 預計拍攝地點 Expected filming location

         (C) 預計影片演員/受訪者/入鏡者 Potential actors/actress (characters) or interviewees

         (D) 影片內容所需道具 (請註明是否為現有道具，或需另行租賃) Necessary props (please specify if you own the props or if you have to borrow/rent the props)

         (E) 影片後製規劃 (如加註字幕、語言種類、彈出特效或圖片等) Your plan on post production (e.g., subtitles, languages, pop-up subtitles or pictures, special effects, and so on)

    3. 製片經費列表 List of expense

    4. 製片進度規畫：請說明拍攝與後製等流程預計所需時間  
        Timeline: Please specify the time you need to shoot the video and post production.
