SONITA ALIZADA '23 AWARDED COVETED FREEDOM PRIZE
Bard College student Sonita Alizada has been awarded the 2021 Freedom Prize in recognition of her international advocacy to end forced marriage. Alizada is a 24-year-old rapper and human rights activist from Afghanistan who was chosen by over 5,000 young people from 86 countries to receive the prize. Read the full story.
