OSUN SENIOR PROJECT PANELS: SPOTLIGHT ON HUMAN RIGHTS HIERARCHIES
During the last week of May, graduating students from across the network discussed their senior theses in a series of panels focused on shared themes. Bard College student Hannah Baumann '23 wrote about a panel of six seniors presenting their in-depth research and potential solutions for a set of human rights-related issues, including immigration in the US, domestic violence in Belarus, and land rights abuses in Israel-Palestine. CRITICAL PRACTICE STUDIO IN DHEISHEH ON "TRANSLATION"
The Critical Practice Studio invites OSUN students to apply for a term-long residency and exhibition on "Translation" that is based in Dheisheh, Palestine. Participants develop individual or group projects during the summer of 2021 and position their projects for exhibition in Berlin in January 2022.

M.A. IN HUMAN RIGHTS AND THE ARTS
OSUN’s Center for Human Rights and the Arts has launched its pioneering M.A. program in Human Rights and the Arts. The first-ever interdisciplinary program brings together scholars, artists, and activists to explore the productive and contentious relationship between the arts and struggles for truth and justice.

The Threatened Scholars Integration Initiative works with scholars seeking alternative teaching, research, or advanced study positions outside their home countries, due to threat from authoritarian regimes, persecution, or other risks, and places them in OSUN institutions.
