TO BE NAMED: EXPERIMENTAL HUMANITIES COLLABORATIVE NETWORK CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
How do we colonize or decolonize through the process of naming? What does it mean To Be Named?
The Experimental Humanities Collaborative Network (EHCN) is partnering with the Smithsonian Institution’s Recovering Voices program, the EU funded CoLing project Minority Languages, Major Opportunities Collaborative Research, and Community Engagement and Innovative Educational Tools on a new initiative focused on the cultural politics of naming and being named. This call for essays, analysis, and art seeks academic and creative contributions that will be published in an interdisciplinary volume and exhibition.

LONDON CRITICAL THEORY SUMMER SCHOOL 2021

Organized by the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities, the internationally renowned London Critical Theory Summer School enables graduate students and academics to engage in a two-week course of study with acclaimed critical thinkers. OSUN MODULAR DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS

CEU invites applications for the OSUN Modular Doctoral Fellowship program. The program supports junior faculty at select OSUN universities who wish to undertake doctoral studies while maintaining their academic positions and continuing teaching at home universities. The fellowships are open for all doctoral programs at CEU and interested candidates apply through the regular CEU admissions procedure. Application deadline is February 1, 2021. NOMINATIONS ACCEPTED FOR THE BETH RICKEY AWARD
The Bard Center for the Study of Hate invites nominations for the Beth Rickey Award from members of the OSUN community. The award recognizes individuals who have taken sustained and effective action against hate. Any OSUN member (student, faculty, or staff) is eligible. The award includes a $500 prize. Nominations due April 1. Learn more
