GET ENGAGED 2022: DEVELOPING COMMUNITY PROJECTS AND STRENGTHENING THE NETWORK IN-PERSON
The Ninth Annual Get Engaged Student Action and Youth Leadership Conference, on June 23-30 at AUCA, brought together 55 undergraduate student leaders and 33 mentors from 17 OSUN universities and 28 countries to discuss, in-person, civic engagement projects students have been implementing in their respective countries. SIMPLE WAYS UNIVERSITIES CAN COLLABORATE TO BRING MORE REFUGEES INTO HIGHER EDUCATION
Rebecca Granato, Director of the OSUN Hubs for Connected Learning Initiatives, recently wrote in Times Higher Education about how universities can collaborate to support displaced youth seeking higher education opportunities. She notes that universities can leverage collective strengths and resources and share best practices while advocating with governments for safe and durable solutions. Read more.
