INTERACTIVE AND INCLUSIVE: NEW ACADEMIC TECH GUIDES FUEL INTEGRATION ACROSS OSUN
OSUN has launched a set of user-friendly academic tech guides–short, engaging how-to videos and PDFs that walk students and faculty through core digital learning applications, such as Brightspace, Padlet, Panopto, and Zoom. The guides provide students with the crucial steps they need to master online coursework and facilitate peer connections.
Columbia University's Picker Center Digital Education Group, an OSUN partner, led the production of over forty videos, designed with the intent of making academic technology engaging and accessible to all across the network. The guides underscore OSUN’s commitment to providing the technological support necessary to make higher education more interactive and inclusive, facilitating partner schools’ full integration with the network. LEARNING ABOUT NETWORK COLLABORATIVE COURSES JUST GOT EASIER
Just in time for Fall 2022 course registration, OSUN has launched a new centralized web site giving faculty and students easy access to helpful information on each of twelve Network Collaborative Courses (NCCs) offered this semester. Students can click on the panel for each class on the site, then view the course's description and the institutions and instructors offering it.
Each semester, NCCs are offered simultaneously across several OSUN campuses, featuring both in-person classes held on campus and cross-network activities that are held online. Exciting courses such as “Digital Theaters,” “Solving Each Other's Public Health Problems,” and “Social Entrepreneurship” provide ample opportunities for students to share knowledge and perspectives they previously might never have encountered.
Visit the NCC site here.
