"AS AMBITIOUS AS POSSIBLE": BPI CONSORTIUM FOR LIBERAL ARTS IN PRISON PUTS COLLEGE-IN-PRISON ON THE GLOBAL AGENDA

Max Kenner, Executive Director of the Bard Prison Initiative (BPI) and Jessica Neptune, BPI Director of National Engagement, explain how BPI has partnered with OSUN on the Consortium for Liberal Arts in Prison to expand college-in-prison programs across the US and build new partnerships with educators across the globe. Providing technical assistance and strategic guidance to global partners while growing a community of practice across six continents are all key components of the project. Read more

INAUGURAL COHORT OF JUNIOR FELLOWS CONCLUDE FIRST YEAR AT GLOBAL INSTITUTE FOR ADVANCED STUDY

The eight researchers comprising the inaugural cohort of the Global Institute for Advanced Study Junior Fellowship Program have completed their residencies at the Institute for Advanced Study at Central European University in Budapest and are preparing to depart for their second year at various OSUN institutions around the world. Read more

"TO BE-NAMED" EXHIBITION AT HAUS KUNST MITTE, BERLIN

Wednesday, July 5 - Sunday, October 1
The Experimental Humanities Collaborative Network invites the public to its art exhibition "To Be - Named," at Haus Kunst Mitte in Berlin. The exhibition, which will travel to the US, Greece, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, and Mexico, focuses on naming and the significance of names for the development or suppression of a person's identity. Learn more

Priority deadline to register is Thursday, July 20
Applications are now open for OSUN Remote Ambassadors from from Universidad de los Andes, National Sun Yat-sen University, and Parami University. Duties include facilitating OSUN Conversation Tables and promoting OSUN courses and opportunities.

OSUN's Civic Engagement Initiative, the Hubs for Connected Learning Initiatives, and Bard High School Early Colleges seek research papers and panel proposals from faculty and students for the OSUN Summit on Mobility & Immobility in October.
