GEOSPATIAL TECH FOR BUILDING RESILIENCE: GEOHUB WORKSHOP STRENGTHENS SKILLS FOR CLIMATE DISASTER MANAGEMENT

The GeoHub Project's summer workshop on “Geospatial Technologies for Building Resilience” helped OSUN faculty implement geospatial methodology in their research and teaching disciplines. Such technology and the data it gathers can help communities deal with disasters caused by extreme weather events. Read more.

REGISTER FOR UPCOMING DEVELOPING TEACHING PROFESSIONALS COURSES 

Deadline to apply is Thursday, September 7
The Developing Teaching Professionals program, supported by the Yehuda Elkana Center for Teaching, Learning, and Higher Education Research at CEU, offers new OSUN online courses on teaching in higher education for the fall semester. Learn more and register.

APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR SIX OSUN CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

Deadline to apply is Saturday, September 30
Applications are now open for undergraduate students to apply for six different OSUN Academic Certificate programs. Students from all OSUN institutions, at all levels of study, are encouraged to apply.

APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR OSUN COURSE PROPOSALS FOR 2023-24

Deadline to apply is Saturday, September 30
Applications are now open for faculty to propose OSUN courses for 2023-24. Proposals for Network Collaborative Course (NCCs) and OSUN Online Courses (OOCs) for Spring 2024 and for Academic Year 2024-2025 are being accepted. OOC applications are also being accepted for summer 2024.

"TO BE- NAMED" EXHIBITION AT OPALKA GALLERY, ALBANY, NEW YORK

The Experimental Humanities Collaborative Network (EHCN) invites the public to its art exhibition "To Be - Named," at Opalka Gallery at Russell Sage College in Albany, New York. The exhibition is focused on the significance of names for the development or suppression of identity.
