RECENT PRESS EXAMINES OSUN'S ROLE IN RESISTING THREATS TO ACADEMIC FREEDOM WORLDWIDE

Assaults on academic freedom continue to threaten higher education around the world. University World News recently reviewed emerging threats and discussed OSUN's responses to authoritarian crackdowns at Smolny College in Russia, Parami University in Myanmar, and New College of Florida. The Chronicle of Higher Education described the formation of Alt New College, an online institute offering courses and lectures to students following the hostile takeover of New College of Florida. In collaboration with OSUN, Masters level students in the Fine Arts program at Bard College will offer two, 6-week online art workshops from Monday, October 9 - Friday, November 13. Projects and discussions will center on contemporary sound and visual art.

APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR OSUN COURSE PROPOSALS FOR 2023-24

Applications are now open for faculty to propose OSUN courses for 2023-24. Proposals for Network Collaborative Course (NCCs) and OSUN Online Courses (OOCs) for Spring 2024 and for Academic Year 2024-2025 are being accepted. OOC applications are also being accepted for summer 2024.

APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR SPRING 2024 OSUN GRADUATE RESEARCH ABROAD

OSUN graduate students can apply for research mobiity funding for periods of 3 - 8 weeks between February and July 2024 at other OSUN institutions. The mobility scheme is focused on North-South and South-South partnerships.  Learn more.

OSUN'S NEW "WORK AWAY" STAFF MOBILITY PROGRAM
