6月7日，「科學泡泡堂」--鬥陣來高雄！

「科學泡泡堂」是法國在台北協會舉辦的指標性的法台科普活動。聚集法台優秀的科學專家，一起討論科學、技術和社會所面臨之普遍挑戰 。

距離巴黎奧運開幕不到 50 天，高雄首場，我們將結合法台社會學家：吳傑弘 (Jérôme Soldani) 和陳子軒 (Tzu-Hsuan Chen) 共同討論台灣的體育運動。兩位學者專長皆是台灣的運動相關議題，也將就運動為何對人民和社會如此重要帶來獨特見解。

現代體育與身分認同主張密切相關。台灣的棒球和奧林匹克主義也不例外。本次活動將從歷史和政治人類學的角度切入，以對台灣體育二十年的研究和田野調查為基準，對台灣背景下的棒球和奧林匹克主義在整個20世紀和21世紀初的發展軌跡進行一些反思，突顯台灣如何以不同的方式融入全球運動世界。本活動以英語進行。

On 7 June, Join us for the Science Bubble Tea, for the first time in Kaohsiung!

The « Science Bubble Tea » is the flagship Franco-Taiwanese science event organised by the French Office in Taipei, where we gather the best French and Taiwanese scientific experts to debate science, technology and societal challenges

Less than 50 days before the kick-start of the Olympics in France, we will discuss sports in Taiwan with a fantastic franco-taiwanese duo of social scientists : Jérôme Soldani and Tzu-Hsuan Chen. Both are experts of sports in Taiwan, and will bring unique scientific insights on why sports matters for people and society.

Modern Sports are closely linked to identities claims. Baseball and Olympism in Taiwan are no exception. From a historical and political anthropology perspective, and based on two decades of research and fieldwork on Sport in Taiwan, this conference will offer some reflections on the trajectories taken by baseball and olympism in the Taiwanese context.
