[轉知] 亞太大學交流會(UMAP) 2021年春季學期交換計畫 (校內申請9/16截止)

 
                                          
 

UMAP is the acronym for the “University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific”. Founded in 1991, it is a voluntary association of government and non-government representatives of the higher education (university) sector.

The general aim of UMAP is for each of the countries and territories in the Asia- Pacific region to achieve a better understanding of the cultural, economic and social systems of the other countries and territories in the region through enhanced cooperation among higher education institutions and increased mobility of university students and staff.

You are encouraged to study abroad with UMAP because:

  1. Host universities/institutions offer various opportunities that your home institution may not have.

  2. Tuition is expected to be waived in host institutions 

  3. Credits for studies undertaken during the exchange period can be recognized by using UMAP Credit Transfer Scheme (UCTS)

  4. Scholarships are offered to students of inbound/outbound Taiwan and Japan

Qualification

  1. Applicants must be NSYSU's first to fourth-year undergraduate or first to second-year master students. Students in their deferred graduation years or who have been admitted as working professionals are not eligible to apply.

  2. Have a good command of the Language required for each program.

      Please confirm the list of Participating Universities/Institutions by checking the website.

Application Documents to OIA, NSYSU

  1. applicatino form (Click to download)

  2. CV in English (max. 2 pages in A4)

  3. English transcript of grades of all semesters  (must indicate the class ranking of the last academic year)

  4. Language proficiency certificates

  5. others supporting documents in English

please submit the application documnets to Division of Student Exchange, Office of International Affairs, AD 2004.

Application Deadline: Septemter 16, 2020

No. of quota: 2 students

Please note:

  1. Students create an account on the USCO System by registering their email address and password. For more information about the USCO System, students can check the Student User Manual through here.

  2. Nominated Student by OIA, Nsysu should complete complete the Application Form in the USCO System for up to five preferredprograms and click “Save and Submit”. The USCO System will automatically inform the UMAP coordinators at the home university/institution that an application hasbeen submitted.

  3. after completing application above, please inform OIA at oia.outbound@mail.nsysu.edu.tw. OIA.

  4. the whole application must be completed by Sept. 22, 2020.
