[Fwd 2026 Winter] Hanken-LUSEM joint Nordic Winter School 12-23 January 2026
The Winter School explores opportunities for addressing big societal challenges and discusses how we can contribute to developing more equal, resilient, and sustainable societies.
This Winter School is an international learning experience with an exciting Nordic perspective. The courses are together worth 6 ECTS credits in total and will be held full time over 2 weeks in January 2025 (it is not possible to take only one of the courses).
The Winter School will be on campus one week in Lund, Sweden and one week in Helsinki, Finland 12-23 January 2026. It consists of two modules 3 ECTS each;

The Winter School also includes

Pre-requisites
The courses require an active participation in group work and discussions and therefore a very good command of English is expected, corresponding to CEFR B2-C1 level/minimum 87 iBT (internet-based test) both oral and in writing. Participants also must have completed at least one year of business-related studies including an introductory course in economics before the start of Winter School.

Costs
There is no tuition fee for students nominated by our partners. All other expenses, including travel costs, meals, accommodation, social activities etc. are to be covered by the student. Please see our website for more info about accommodation (see below).

Nomination
Nominations for the Winter School will only be accepted from our partner institutions to sustain a good mobility balance. The deadline for nomination is 1 October 2025. The exchange ratio will be that 2 Winter School seats corresponds to 1 semester seat.

Please note that the number of seats available is limited, we aim to provide at least 2 seats for each partner. Priority will be given to our partners outside of Europe, and partners where we have an imbalance in their favour. If you are interested in more seats, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them once we have assessed the overall demand. We will let you know the distribution of seats in the end of June, so that you can offer the Winter School to your students.
