VISUAL STORYTELLING FOR CIVIC ENGAGEMENT 2021 FESTIVAL WINNER: THE STORY THAT EYE WITNESSED
Award winners were announced at the culminating film festival for OSUN's “Visual Storytelling for Student Engagement” fall 2021 workshop. “A Story That Eye Witnessed,” by Nancy Rualzapar Bawm, Tanzil Talat Anonto, Bayazid Hossain, and Antara Farnaz Khan (BRAC University) and “Surviving the Taliban,” by Susan Azizi and Nicholas Andersen (AUCA) took home a total of seven awards. Read the full story.

RIGHT TO WRITE: STUDENT LED DISCUSSION ON ACADEMIC FREEDOM

Students from OSUN's Human Rights Advocacy Course invite network students to participate in a student-led discussion about academic freedom. The virtual event focuses on the case of imprisoned Uyghur scholar Illham Tohti but also looks at academic freedom in the context of Palestine.

OSUN's Global Commons is a new online literary and news publication seeking student-generated work on issues related to OSUN themes.
