Applicants must meet both requirements:

Minimum English proficiency:
- iBT-TOEFL of 42,
- IELTS of 4.0,
- New TOEIC of 550,
- Duolingo of 95

Minimum Chinese proficiency:
- TOCFL score level 2,
- HSK score level 4

| Note |
- Since academic year 2022, the Master Program at the Department of Theater Arts focuses on Interdisciplinary Practice and Research. Students are able to study in depth in the fields of acting, directing, performance design & praxis, theater criticism & dramaturgy. Students could choose one of two ways, master thesis or practical production for graduation.
