(1)English track: Program offers enough English-taught core courses, the remaining credits can be fulfilled by taking courses at other departments
(applicants submit English proficiency certificate)

(2)Chinese track: Most courses are taught in Chinese
(applicants submit both English and Chinese proficiency certificate)

Language Proficiency Requirement
Applicants have to meet the language requirement corresponding to the class track they choose:
  1. Minimum English proficiency:
    • iBT-TOEFL of 61,
    • IELTS of 5.0,
    • Duolingo of 90
  2. Minimum Chinese proficiency:
    • TOCFL score level 3,
    • HSK score level 5
Required Documents
  1. Two (2) recommendation letters
  2. Autobiography in Chinese or English
  3. Study plan (including research proposal) in Chinese or English
  4. Please submit English or/and Chinese proficiency certificate according to the track you choose
