Since Middlebury is interested in establishing close academic relations with a university in Taiwan with the primary goal of initiating a study abroad program for undergraduates from the U.S., Middlebury visited NSYSU to have an exchange session for further discussion. The study abroad program would have a variety of courses offered in Mandarin in various fields including literature, history, culture, religion, political science, environmental studies, public health, and anthropology, either in custom courses or directly alongside NSYSU students.
