Second: Further Explanation about Items in Point System

1. Education

Required Documents: Photocopy of diploma

 

2.Average Monthly Salary

Required Documents:

Photocopy of employment contract signed by employer and overseas Chinese student. (The contract should state average monthly salary (in NTD), names of both parties, job title, job description, employment duration, etc)

Remark

Average Monthly Salary = (annual salaries + Bonus + other perk and allowances) / 12, instead of take home pay

 

3. Work Experience

Required Documents:

Photocopy of overseas Chinese or foreign student’s full-time work experience certification

 

4. Qualified to serve in relevant capacity

You are qualified to serve in relevant capacity once you are employed, but you should prepare related documents to prove, including:

professional training for the role

course attendance (Transcript)

skill certification

creative works competition awards or patents

other related documents that can prove you are qualified

 

5. Chinese language proficiency

prepare One of the following documents:

1. Photocopy of overseas Chinese or foreign student Chinese language proficiency test result

2. Academic record (Transcript) of Chinese courses attended in R.O.C.

Fluent: 80 or higher (A- or above in NSYSU)

Advanced: 70 to 79 (B- or above in NSYSU)

Intermediate: 60 to 69 (C- or above in NSYSU)

3. Documentation of Chinese studies hours

Fluent: hours studying Chinese in the R.O.C. totaling over 960 or over 1,920 hours in other regions.

Advanced: hours studying Chinese in the R.O.C. totaling over 480 or over 960 hours in other regions.

Intermediate: hours studying Chinese in the R.O.C. totaling over 360 or over 720 hours in other regions.

 

 

6. Foreign language proficiency or overseas background

Prepare the following documents

***only 1 language can be recognize by passport even you are from a multilingual country.

Second

Foreign Language

Certificate of language proficiency test

i.e TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, GEPT

***The acceptance of other language proficiency tests depends on the Minister of Labor.

8. Receiving a scholarship or having excellent academic performance

Required Documents:

Photocopies of documentation such as official documents approved by government agencies and schools or the list of winners announced in the announcement.

Hence, please keep all the documents and award certificate once you acquire scholarship
