STUDENT LEADERSHIP FELLOWS CONVENE IN COLOMBIA TO DEFINE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROJECTS
Student Leadership Fellows met recently at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá for discussions and workshops designed to enhance their public speaking and program management skills. The skill building is helping them formulate next steps for their campus enhancement projects. Read more.

Deadline to apply is Friday, March 1
The Professional Development Program at the Yehuda Elkana Center at CEU is offering a course for administrators examining fundamental issues in higher education and how they might be addressed in a domestic context.

DEADLINES EXTENDED: INTERDISCIPLINARY INTENSIVE SUMMER COURSES AT CEU 

Deadline to apply is Sunday, March 10
Application deadlines have been extended for many CEU Summer University courses.  The one- and two-week intensive research- and policy-oriented high-level courses are offered in Budapest to faculty and staff from June 24th to July 27th. Register as late as Sunday, March 10.  Learn more and apply.

CALL FOR PAPERS: INDIRECT GOVERNANCE OF VIOLENCE, ECONOMY, AND RELIGION IN AFRICA

Deadline to submit is Friday, March 15
WISER (The WITS Institute for Social and Economic Research) in Johannesburg seeks papers for a workshop in July focused on colonized Africa and the indirect management of the economy, religious influences, and the dynamics of violence.
