I. Purpose

To promote interaction among overseas Chinese students from universities across Taiwan, foster sportsmanship and teamwork, National Taiwan University of Sport, commissioned by the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), is organizing the "2026 National Overseas Chinese Students Sports Games." The event provides a platform for competition and交流 among overseas Chinese students nationwide, and eligible participants are warmly invited to take part.

II. Eligibility

• Overseas Chinese students (including students from Hong Kong and Macao) currently enrolled in universities and colleges in Taiwan.
• Students aged 18 or above enrolled in the Industry-Academia Collaboration Program for Overseas Chinese Students (Senior High School Track).

• Badminton Preliminary Round (Individual Event): October 24 (Sat.) – October 25 (Sun.), 2026
• Opening Ceremony & Athletes' Night: November 27 (Fri.), 2026
• Main Competition & Closing Ceremony: November 28 (Sat.) – November 29 (Sun.), 2026

V. Event Information

• Registration Period: August 3 (Mon.) – September 7 (Mon.), 2026, 6:00 PM.
• Online registration is required. Please refer to the official event information for the latest announcements, competition regulations, and registration details.

VI. Team Participation Subsidy

To encourage participation, the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) will provide subsidies for participating teams. Eligible expenses include transportation, accommodation, and meals for registered athletes, coaches, and team leaders, with a maximum subsidy of NT$1,500 per person, subject to actual participation and attendance:

• Main Competition + Athletes' Night: Up to NT$1,500 per person.
• Main Competition only (without attending Athletes' Night): Up to NT$1,000 per person.
• Badminton Preliminary Round + Athletes' Night: Up to NT$1,000 per person.
• Badminton Preliminary Round only (without attending Athletes' Night): No subsidy will be provided.

Note: The total subsidy for each institution is capped at the amount calculated based on the eligible participants and subsidy standards above. Reimbursement will be made upon submission of supporting documents. Any additional expenses shall be borne by the participating institution.
