Ministry of Education Financial Aid for Low-Income Overseas Chinese Students
To assist overseas Chinese students from economically disadvantaged families who are diligent in their studies to complete their education on schedule, the Ministry of Education has established the "Guidelines for the Issuance of Financial Aid Scholarships for Economically Disadvantaged Overseas Chinese Students in Senior High Schools and Above." Overseas Chinese students may apply by submitting official overseas financial documents or proof of economic hardship, as well as their academic transcript from the previous school year. Based on the "Review Procedures for Financial Aid Scholarships for Economically Disadvantaged Overseas Chinese Students," our university holds a review meeting every academic year. Selection is based on the students’ living conditions in Taiwan and the documents provided, with the most qualified applicants being awarded. For those approved, the monthly subsidy amount is determined according to the Ministry of Education’s annual budget and is granted for one year.
