International Summer Institute for Business Management (ISIBM)

• Dates: Choose between a July cohort or August cohort
• Description: The International Summer Institute for Business Management (ISIBM) is an intensive three or four-week program taught by our award-winning professors from the Gustavson School of Business. This program pairs theoretical concepts with experiential learning. Topics are organized into 2 modules and cover Business Communication, Entrepreneurship, Service Management, and International Business. Students will take part in a variety of class discussions and presentations. Students will work in pairs and small groups as well as complete a number of readings, homework assignments and tests. The program also includes some social and cultural activities.
• Level of study: Undergraduate and Graduate accepted

• Credits: Equivalent to 6 North American credit hours of course work. Students should check with their home universities for equivalent credits and transfer permission.

Summer Graduate Business Studies (SGBS)

• Dates: Modules run from June to July

• Description: Since 2013, Gustavson Executive Programs has been pleased to offer the Summer Graduate Business Studies (SGBS) program which is specifically targeted to master’s students worldwide. Delivered by the same instructors that teach our own MBA students, the program offers a thorough overview of the fields that garnered Gustavson Business international attention and awards. Cross-Cultural Management, Global Strategy and Social Entrepreneurship are key areas of specialization for Gustavson. We have adapted the format of our regular MBA courses to present you with a rigorous, innovative term of study. The program is equivalent to three graduate level courses. The program also includes some social and cultural activities. Students may choose to participate in all 3 modules or may choose to do only 1 or 2.

• Level of study: Graduate only
• Credits: The full program (3 modules) is equivalent to 8.5 North American credit hours of course work. If taken individually, Module 1 is equivalent to 2.5 credits and Modules 2 & 3 are each worth 3 credits each. Students should check with their home universities for equivalent credits and transfer permission.
