Eligibility:

1. Overseas Chinese students currently enrolled in the university, from financially disadvantaged families or facing hardship.
2. Current president or committee members of the university’s Overseas Chinese Students Association, with a passion for service, will be given priority.
3. Students with outstanding performance in service learning in the previous term.
4. According to the Overseas Community Affairs Council: Children of teachers from Malaysian Independent Chinese Secondary Schools, Myanmar Chinese Schools, and Korean Overseas Chinese Schools will be given priority.

Important Notes:

1. This learning assistance fund is not a work-study salary; there is no need to apply for a work permit. All recipients must participate in service learning activities.
2. Content of service learning activities: Mainly assisting the Overseas Chinese Affairs Division and the Overseas Chinese Students Association, with the aim of enhancing diverse learning abilities.
3. Service learning activity hours: 3 hours per week, for 18 weeks per term.
4. The approved list will be announced on the Sun Yat-sen Overseas Chinese Students Association social media platform, and admitted students will be notified.
