INTENSE Scholarship

The International Industrial Talents Education Special (INTENSE) Program

Supported by the Taiwan government, the International Industrial Talents Education Special (INTENSE) Program brings together Taiwanese universities and leading industries to offer degree programs that bridge academic learning and practical skills. The INTENSE program scholarship is jointly funded by the Ministry of Education, enterprises in collaboration, and NSYSU. In addition, partner enterprises offer pathways to employment after graduation, creating a seamless transition from academic learning to a thriving career.

The Scholarship includes:

+ Tuition waiver
+ Monthly stipend: NT$15,000 (≒USD500)
*From the second semester of the second year, continued eligibility for the living allowance and tuition waiver require achieving at least TOCFL A2 proficiency in both listening and reading, as well as a satisfactory evaluation of academic performance and conduct by NSYSU and and the partner enterprise.
+ One-way airfare support
+ Administrative fee subsidy

Notes:

Upon graduation, scholarship recepients are required to work for the partner enterprise for a period equivalent to the duration of the monthly stipend received, up to a maximum of two years.
If a scholarship recipient withdraws from the program midway or fails to fulfill the post-graduation employment obligation for reasons attributable to the recipient, the recipient shall be required to return the waived tuition and monthly stipends received.
