The party members from Latvia and Lithuania visited NSYSU to further understand the possible collaborations with the higher education institutions in both countries. The meeting with the University was hosted by the Vice President of Research and Development Dr. Mitch Ming-chi Chou, representatives included Vice President of International Affairs Dr. Chi-wen Kuo, Dean of Marines Sciences College Dr. Hsien Huan Lee, Dean of Social Sciences Dr. Chyi-Lu Jang, Director of Political Science Institute Dr. Cheng-Shan Liu, Chair of Dept. of Materials and Optoelectronic Science Prof. Liuwen Chang, Dr. Tsung-Ming Tsai of Dept. of Materials and Optoelectronic Science, Dr. Li-Yin Chen of Dept. of Photonics, and Dr. Yuan-Pin Lin of Institute of Medical Science and Technology. The meeting focused on research highlights on marine sciences, social sciences, material science, engineering, and medical sciences.
