[News] UMAP 2020 Program C-2nd & 3rd Cycle (2nd cycle deadline 2/21, 3rd cycle deadline 5/18)

About UMAP │UMAP is the acronym for the “University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific”. Founded in 1991, it is a voluntary association of government

and non-government representatives of the higher education (university) sector. The general aim of UMAP is for each of the countries

and territories in the Asia- Pacific region to achieve a better understanding of the cultural, economic and social systems of the other

countries and territories in the region through enhanced cooperation among higher education institutions and increased mobility of

university students and staff.

Application period│ There are two cut-off dates for the student application period as shown below;
1. Program C 2nd Cycle: February 6 to February 25
2. Program C 3rd Cycle: April 13 to May 22
 
Application process│ 1. REGISTRATION – Students create an account on the USCO System by registering their email address and password
( https://usco.umap.org/std/ ). For more information about the USCO System, students can check
the Student User Manual through this link.
2. APPLICATION – Students must complete the Application Form in the USCO System for up to three preferred
programs and click “Save and Submit”. The USCO System will automatically inform the UMAP
coordinators at the home university/institution that an application has been submitted. Applications
will be accepted based on each Timeline.
3. NOMINATIONCoordinators log into the USCO System (https://usco.umap.org/incw/). They can then check the applications
they have received, and nominate appropriate students by clicking “Approve ”.
