2024 International Cultural Festival Cultural and Food Booth Recruitment

Hey, NSYSU champions! 🌏🎉 Get ready for the ultimate celebration – the annual International Cultural Festival is on its way! 🚀Immerse yourself in a vibrant fusion of  flavors, rhythms, and traditions that'll ignite your passion.

 

  • Cultural and Food Booth Recruitment

📅 Date : March 19-21, 2024

⌚️ Time : 11:00-14:00

📍 Location: The Bodhi Tree Square, NSYSU

👉🏻 Eligible Participants: all NSYSU students, including Taiwanese students, overseas compatriot students, international degree students, exchange students, Chinese Language Center students, and students from Mainland China.

 

***Booths are based on "country," not the nationality of the participating students.

For example: a Taiwanese student can sign up for "Korean" cuisine. There are no restrictions on the department, level of study, nationality, or number of people. You can sign up individually or as a team.

 

  • Booths in the Cultural and Food Market must abide by and promote "eco-friendly." The use of reusable tableware and utensils is mandatory for all participants. Plastic is not allowed. If disposable tableware is required, paper should be used.

 

  • Competition Awards for the 2024 International Cultural Festival:

(1) Best Cuisine Award: NT$4,000 (tax deduction required according to government regulations)

(2) Best Eco-Friendly Booth Theme Design Award: NT$4,000 (tax deduction required according to government regulations)

 

  • Registration fee: NT$1,000

(The fee includes venue, utilities, three tables, three chairs, and participation in the International Cultural Festival Competition.)

 

  • Deposit fee: NT$2,000

(The deposit will be fully refunded if you use environmentally friendly tableware, keep the venue clean and the equipment in good condition, and collect and take out the garbage by yourself at 2 p.m. every day.)

 

  • Additional information:

1. Each booth is provided with 2 electrical plugs (110V). Please avoid using high-power electrical appliances.

2. Open-fire cooking is prohibited in the booth. Gas stoves are allowed.

3. Ensure the environmental hygiene and safety of the booth. All food sold must be cooked.

4. Plastic lunch boxes and tableware are not allowed. Once found, the deposit will not be refunded.

5. Encourage your customers to rent environmentally friendly tableware from the organizer;

6. The organizer reserves the right to modify the regulations mentioned above, and changes will be notified by email.
