STUDENT PODCASTERS RELEASE NEW EPISODE ON "THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN SOCIETAL DEVELOPMENT"

Civic Engagement Voices Rising presents fresh insights about student civic engagement and volunteerism. In the latest episode, Nafira Nayeem Ahmad, a sophomore at BRAC University, and Christina Anastas of Al-Quds Bard College for Arts and Sciences, join hosts Sabawoon Durrani and Ibaadullah Durrani to discuss “Youth at the Forefront: The Role of Youth in Societal Development." Join Global Engagement Fellows for an insightful discussion on the future of youth-led movements, global solidarity, and the messages of hope and resilience that keep them going.  Listen to the podcast

OSUN's Civic Engagement Initiative is accepting applications for the Get Engaged Year-long Student Fellowship, which includes the 2025 Summer Student Action and Youth Leadership Conference in Vilnius, Lithuania at the European Humanities University in July.

The Developing Teaching Professionals project, led by CEU's Yehuda Elkana Center, is offering the following course for faculty during Spring '25: 

•Learning by Design: Second in a two-part sequence focusing on course design and assessments.

DEADLINE TO APPLY TO CEU SUMMER UNIVERSITY EXTENDED TO MARCH 2

Deadline to register is Sunday, March 2
CEU Summer University, in partnership with OSUN, offers short (1-2 week long), intensive, high-level, research- and policy-oriented interdisciplinary courses. Courses are offered in Budapest and in Vienna in June and July. Courses include "Ecology, Capitalism, Democracy" and "Magic and Witchcraft."

OSUN faculty and staff are encouraged to register for "Working with Data: A Workshop for Higher Education Professionals," offered by the Professional Development Program for Administrators at CEU on March 6 and 13. CLIMATE DISINFORMATION: EUROPEAN & GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES

The Open Society Hub for the Politics of the Anthropocene invites students to join its workshop exploring how climate disinformation operates, how it spreads across different platforms and regions, and what strategies can be used to combat it.
