Spring 2026 Online Courses Open for Registration

Students across GHEA21 are invited to apply for Online Courses that  offered in Spring 2026. The priority deadline is December 19, 2025. View courses and register.

New and Existing Certificates Are Open for Application

GHEA21 announces the launch of three new academic certificates: Global HumanitiesGlobal Studies, and Sustainability and Climate Solutions. Applications are open for these new certificates, as well as existing certificates in Civic Engagement, Education, and Human Rights. Learn more about certificates and apply.

GLOBAL VOICES, ONE VIRTUAL STAGE: THE 2025 VIRTUAL STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

The Virtual Student Leadership Conference took place on October 25 and 26 with ~400 students participating and created a unique and diverse space for building knowledge across borders through skill-based workshops, keynote speakers from marginalized communities, and purpose-driven civic engagement. THE NEWLY RELEASED BOOK YOUTH VOTING RIGHTS: CIVIL RIGHTS, THE TWENTY-SIXTH AMENDMENT, AND THE FIGHT FOR AMERICAN DEMOCRACY ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES

The book, co-edited by Vice Chancellor of GHEA21 Jonathan Becker and Yael Bromberg, was built upon the network collaborative course The Struggle for Voting Rights at Colleges. It demonstrates the power of coalition building in the face of voter suppression, particularly across generations and institutional actors. Read more.

HISTORY LAB: QUALITATIVE RESEARCH METHODS

SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN FOR THE FULBRIGHT SCIENCE OF DISINFORMATION SYMPOSIUM

Proposal submissions deadline is December, 19. Online symposium is on February, 6.
American University in Bulgaria invites submissions for the Symposium, exploring the threats of disinformation on the digital landscape and its impact on public trust and democracy. Participants are called on to identify key challenges and craft solutions to dismantle disinformation locally and/or globally. Learn more and submit.
