Overseas Chinese Students Life Counseling

We create a warm counseling environment that is open all day, with music, computers, coffee, and Chinese/English books and newspapers available. Overseas Chinese students can surf the internet, read, chat, or discuss studies. We frequently interact with students in daily life, offering timely care and consolation.

At the beginning and end of each semester, the Overseas Chinese Student Association holds member meetings to remind students about important matters regarding daily life and studies. During winter and summer breaks, we send notices about work permit applications, safety, insurance rights, residence extension, and semester registration. Important regulations for overseas Chinese students are announced online, and those personally relevant are delivered for individual signature by student workers.

We proactively monitor students’ academic performance and arrange interviews when necessary. We keep track of off-campus accommodation situations and remind students to pay attention to safety. Sports and recreational activities are organized to relieve physical and mental stress. For student injuries or hospitalizations, we arrange care and provide information about personal safety, health maintenance, and emergency assistance.
